Ingredients:

• Rice flour – 2 cup
• roasted Urad powder – 2 tbsp, slightly heaped
• Butter – 2 tsp
• Chana Dal – 1 tsp
• Thuvar Dal – 1 tsp
• chilli powder – to taste
• Salt – to taste

Method:

  1. Soak channa dal and tuvar dal in water for 1 hour and drain.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together. Add water and make soft dough.
  3. Take lime sized balls of dough and shape into 1/8 inch thick discs on greased plastic sheet.
  4. Deep fry in moderately hot oil till crisp. Cool and store.
