Ingredients:

• 7 – Tomatoes
• 1/2 cup – Coconut
• Coriander leaves
• Asafoetida (hing)
• 1/2 cup, small – fried gram dal
• 3-4 tbsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tbsp – Sugar
• For masala:
• A little coconut, fried gram, coriander leaves, Hing and some cooked Tomatoes

Method:

  1. Chop the tomato, cook with sugar and chilli powder.
  2. Once the tomatoes are cooked, take some out and grind with the ingredients listed for masala.
  3. Then add the ground paste back into the remaining tomatoes. Add salt to taste.
  4. Cook everything for 5-10 mins. Finally, season with some mustard.
