Ingredients:
• 2 cups – rice.
• 1 cup – Poha (thick).
• 1 cup – curd.
• oil for cooking.
• Salt to taste.
• 1/4 tsp – baking soda.
Method:
- Wash and soak rice for at least 4 hours.
- Wash the poha, and add it to the rice and grind to a smooth paste using curd.
- Cover and set aside to ferment overnight.
- Next day, add salt, soda and very little water to make batter little thin.
- Heat a non-stick tawa on a medium flame till hot and grease it with oil.
- Spread a ladleful of the batter thickly on the pan and cover it to make thick dosas.
- Roast on one side till golden brown, using a little oil. Do the same with other side also.
- Serve hot with sweet peanut or mint chutney.
