Ingredients:
• 2 cups- Boiled rice.
• 1 cup- Urad dal.
• One handful of Poha.
• 1 tsp- Salt.
Method:
- Soak rice and dal separately for 6 hours. Soak poha along with the rice.
- Grind rice coarsely.
- Grind dal to a smooth paste.
- Add cooking soda a bit and also salt to the ground paste. Leave it for 12 hours for fermenting.
- Put it in the idli moulds and pressure cook it for 12 mins. Don’t open the cooker. After 15 minutes open the cooker. Change it into a bowl. Serve with sambhar or chutneys.
