Ingredients:
• 1 cup – bean sprouts.
• 1 – onion, finely chopped.
• 1 – tomato, finely chopped.
• 1 – small cucumber, finely chopped.
• 1/2 – dark seedless pomegranate, cleaned.
• 1 tbsp – coriander leaves, finely chopped.
• 1/2 cup – fine sev.
• 1/2 cup – bhel mixture farsan (optional).
• 2 – small chillies, deseeded, crushed (or as per taste).
• 1 tsp – dry red Garlic chutney.
• 1/2 tsp – cumin seeds, powdered.
• 1/2 tsp – sugar, powdered.
• 1 tsp – Lemon juice.
• Salt to taste.
Method:
- Put bean sprouts in a large bowl.
- Add onion, tomato, cucumber and coriander.
- Add cumin, lemon, garlic chutney, chillies, sugar and salt.
- Toss well to blend all flavours.
- Just before serving, mix in pomegranate and farsan.
- Put into 3-4 individual serving bowls.
- Garnish with fine sev, coriander, pomegranate.
