Ingredients:

• 1 pomfret, washed, sliced and marinated in 1/2 tbsp. Vinegar and 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 cup – grated Coconut
• 5 green chillies, finely chopped
• 2 onions, finely chopped
• 1/2 cup – finely chopped Coriander seeds
• 2 Cloves – garlic, minced
• 1/2 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• one Lime juice
• 2 tbsps – oil
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil, add garlic, and fry till light brown.
  2. Add green chillies and onions.
  3. Saute till onions are brown.
  4. Add the coconut, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice. Cook on low heat.
  5. Add the fish, and stir gently.
  6. Cook till the fish is done. Serve hot.
