Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Channa
• 1/4 cup – Potatoes
• 1/4 tsp – chaat masala/garam masala powder
• 1 pinch – chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – green chutney
• 1 tbsp – Dates chutney
• 1 small – onion, chopped fine
• 1 tbsp – coriander leaves, chopped fine
• 2 tbsps – sev (optional)
• Salt
• 1 tsp – Lemon juice
Method:
- Soak channa overnight for at least 6 – 8 hours. Pressure cook channa until soft, drain water and keep aside.
- Pressure cook potatoes for 3 – 4 whistles until soft.
- Peel the skin and mash it roughly, keep aside.
- Now in a bowl, add channa and boiled potatoes, combine it with the chaat masala powder, lemon juice, chilli powder, salt, green chutney, dates chutney and mix well.
- Finally add onions and garnish with coriander leaves and sev on top.
- You can also add raw chopped tomatoes.
