Ingredients:
• 3-4 – potatoes, boiled
• 1/2 tsp – Saunf
• 2 cups – cooked Rice
• Oil/Ghee
• Salt – according to taste.
• Coriander leaves to garnish
• To wet grind:
• 1 bunch – Mint leaves
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 4 to 5 – Green chillies
• 1 – big piece Ginger
• 2 – Garlic Cloves
• Coriander leaves
Method:
- Chop the boiled potatoes.
- In a pan, heat some oil/ghee. Add cumin seeds, saunf and the wet masala paste with turmeric powder. Fry till the raw smell vanishes.
- Add the boiled potatoes and a little water to help the potatoes absorb the masala.
- Close the pan with a lid and simmer for some time.
- To the cooked potato masala, add the cooked rice. Mix well and simmer for 1/2 a minute.
- Finally garnish with coriander leaves
