Ingredients:

• 4 – potato.
• 1 tsp – turmeric.
• 1 – onion, chopped.
• 2- green chillies, chopped.
• 1 tsp – mustard.
• 1 tsp – cumin.
• Curry leaves.
• A little sugar.
• oil.
• Salt to taste.
• A pinch Red Chilli powder.
• Coriander leaves for garnishing.

Method:

  1. Peel, boil and then smash the potatoes.
  2. In a pan, saute curry leaves, chopped green chillies, mustard and cumin.
  3. Add the chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
  4. Add water. Add the smashed potatoes and stir well.
  5. Add salt as per taste, a pinch of sugar and a pinch of red chilli powder.
  6. Cook well, garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. Enjoy this sagu with rava idlli, dosa or puri.
