Ingredients:
• 500 g – prawns, medium size.
• 2 – Onions (medium size).
• 6 – 8 flakes – garlic.
• 3 – 4 – green chillies.
• 2 tsp – minced coriander leaves.
• 2 tsp – minced Mint leaves (pudina).
• 2 tbsp – Rice flour.
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder.
• 1 cup – refine oil.
• salt.
• 1 tsp- Lemon juice.
• 1/2 cup – Rice flour.
Method:
- Marinate the prawns with salt, lemon juice and keep it aside for half an hour.
- Put prawns in a grinding jar and make a rough paste.
- Now add the crushed garlic and green chillies to it and grind for 1 minute.
- Remove it from the jar and keep the prawn mixture aside.
- Chop the onions, add along with coriander leaves, mint leaves, garam masala powder, salt to it and mix.
- Now add ground rice flour into prawn mixture and mix it thoroughly.
- Make small balls and shape it like a vada or cutlet.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan, deep fry vadas in oil till golden brown.
- Sever hot with chutney and lemon twists.
