Ingredients:
• 1 can – chickpeas, rinsed and crumbled.
• 1 cup – crumbled paneer.
• 1/2 cup – chopped onion.
• 1 tbsp – chilli-ginger paste.
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste.
• 2 tsp – Channa masala powder.
• 1 tsp – sugar.
• 2 tsp – Lemon juice.
• 2 tbsp – coriander chopped.
• 2 tsp – oil.
• 2 – frozen pastry sheet or puff sheet.
• Salt to taste.
Method:
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Add chopped onions and fry until golden brown.
- Now add chilli and ginger garlic paste. Fry for 1 minute.
- Now add channa masala, salt, sugar and lemon juice. Fry for a few minutes.
- Now add crumbled chickpeas, mix well and cook for 3-4 mins.
- Add paneer and coriander leaves and cook for a couple of more minutes.
- Let it cool.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets.
- Cut them into squares (approximately 4 X 4 inches).
- Place the stuffing on one half of the sheet.
- Fold the other remaining half of sheet over the stuffing.
- Press the two ends together with a drop of water.
- Prepare the remaining puff similarly.
- Place in oven at 400 degrees F for 10-15 mins or till light brown and crispy.
