Ingredients:

• 250 g – Pumpkin
• 15 – Almonds (blanched and peeled)
• 1 litre – Milk
• 1/2 cup – Sugar or to taste
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder

Method:

  1. Peel the pumpkin and cut into big cubes.
  2. Steam till very soft and mash well.
  3. Grind the almonds with 1/2 cup of milk to a smooth paste.
  4. Boil the remaining milk.
  5. Add sugar and almond paste and stir till the sugar is dissolved.
  6. Add pumpkin and cardamom powder.
  7. Mix well and simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Cool and keep in the refrigerator.
  9. Serve chilled.
