Ingredients:
• Spinach – 1 bunch
• Potatoes – 3
• Onions – 2
• Green chillies – 8
• Garlic – 5
• Red Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
• Turmeric -1/4 tsp
• Garam Masala powder – 1/4 tsp
• Tamarind – a little
• Coriander leaves – 2 sprigs
Method:
- Heat oil in pan, add chopped onions, garlic and green chillies. Saute.
- Add finely chopped spinach leaves and potatoes cut into medium sized cubes.
- Sprinkle 1/4 cup of water and close the pan. Stir occasionally.
- After 10-15 minutes, when the spinach and potatoes are cooked, add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, tamarind and salt.
- Add 1/4 more cup of water and stir in high flame. Remove from flame.
- Add chopped coriander and butter for garnishing. Serve hot.
