Ingredients:
• Aval – 1 cup
• Potato – 1
• Onion – 1
• Green chilli – 2
• Mustard Seed – 1 tsp
• Urad Dal – 1 tsp
• Oil – 5 tsp
• Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Curry leaves – a few
Method:
- Soak aval in water for 5 mins.
- Chop onion, potato, green chilli.
- Put a kadai on stove. Add oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, onion, potato, chilli and curry leaves.
- Add one cup of water and cook thoroughly.
- Add salt to taste.
- Finally add the soaked aval to the kadai and mix it.
- If required sprinkle some water and cook covered for 5 mins.
