
Ingredients:
• 1 tbsp – kasuri Methi (dry Methi)
• 1 tsp – Jeera
• A few Green chillies
• 2 cups – Rice
• Red Chilli powder to taste
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 – Bay Leaf
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 4 cups – water
Method:
- In a cooker, heat a little oil and add bay leaves, jeera and garam masala.
- When it is slightly brown, add red chilli, salt and turmeric powder. Stir for a few seconds.
- Then add kasuri methi and the rice.
- Add water and cook rice till done.
- Serve with raita.
