Ingredients:
• 1/4 kg – mooli
• 2 tbsp – Coconut
• 1 – Onion
• 3 – Green chillies
• 6 – Garlic Cloves
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 10 – Curry leaves
• 1/2 tbsp – Coriander leaves
• 1/4 tsp – cumin
• a pinch – Turmeric
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste.
Method:
- Squeeze out moisture from mooli scrapings and keep aside.
- Heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, fry, and when the seeds splutter add cumin, onion and green chillies.
- Fry till the onions turn pink, add crushed garlic then add mooli, turmeric and salt.
- Mix thoroughly and cook with the vessel covered for 3 mins.
- If necessary sprinkle some water, mix and keep frying for another min till it is dry.
- Sprinkle coriander leaves, serve.
