 
            Ingredients:
  • 1 cup – basmati Rice 
 • 1.5 cups – water 
 • 2 tbsp – Ghee 
 • 1 – Onion (chopped) 
 • 2 – Cardamom 
 • 2 – Cloves 
 • 10 – pepper Corns 
 • 1 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste 
 • Chopped Mint leaves 
Method:
- Wash and soak the basmati rice for 15 minutes.
- Heat the ghee in a pan and fry the cardamoms, cloves, peppercorns and chopped onions for few seconds. Immediately add the ginger garlic paste and stir until the raw smell goes away.
- Now add the soaked rice, fry for few seconds and add the water. Transfer the rice to rice cooker.
- Once the rice gets cooked, add the chopped mint leaves and serve with raita or any spicy side dish.
