Ingredients:
• 3 cups – buttermilk
• 3/4 cup – besan
• 1 cup – water
• 1.5 cups – mixed vegetables (or okra)
• 1 tsp – Methi powder
• 1.5 pieces Red Chillies
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – Dhania Jeera powder
• 1 bunch coriander or Cilantro (chopped)
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric
• salt
Method:
- Make a paste of besan and water. Add turmeric to buttermilk and cook on medium flame.
- Add the besan paste to the buttermilk and continue cooking until it boils.
- Cook the vegetables in a separate vessel.
- In yet another separate vessel, heat oil and add mustard seeds, methi, chillies, dhania jeera powder.
- Now mix this with the buttermilk.
- Mix the cooked vegetables to the buttermilk.
- Cook for some more time.
- Add salt and finally garnish with coriander.
