Ingredients:
• 3 – Potatoes.
• 4 tbsps – oil.
• 1 tbsp 1/2 Chana dal.
• 1 tsp – mustard seeds.
• 1 tsp – jeera.
• 1/2 tsp – urad dal.
• .
• For Grinding:
• 4 to 5 – Garlic pods.
• 1 tsp – coriander seeds.
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder.
• a pinch – Turmeric powder.
• 1 tbsp – Coconut powder.
• salt to taste.
Method:
- Take a thick bottom pan and add oil in it.
- Add mustard seeds, jeera, urad dal and allow them to splutter. Add the washed channa dal.
- Now add the peeled and diced potato pieces, mix well and let them stand for five minutes on medium heat.
- Then keep stirring till all the potato pieces turn golden brown.
- When the potatoes are brown, add the ground powder to it and mix well.
- Serve it with white rice or lemon rice.
