
Ingredients:
• 1.5 lbs – pumpkin, chopped into small pieces
• 4 tbsp – finely chopped Onions
• 3- green chillies, finely chopped
• 1/2 tsp – mustard
• 3 tsp – oil
• A pinch of Turmeric powder
• 3 tbsp – Milk
• 1/4 tsp – Tamarind paste
• A few Curry leaves
• Some Coriander leaves – chopped finely
• chilli powder – a little (optional)
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard. Once it splutters, add green chillies, curry leaves & turmeric.
- Next, add onions and fry well.
- Then add pumpkin pieces, salt and the tamarind water to it.
- Once pumpkins are cooked, add the milk and heat on medium heat for about 7 – 8 min.
- Garnish with chopped coriander and serve with rice or rotis.
