
Ingredients:
• Rice – 1 cup
• Thoor dal – 3/4 tsp
• Moong dal – 1 tbsp
• Red Chillies – 3
• Cumin – 1/2 tsp
• Pepper – 6
• Curry leaves – a few
• Ghee -1 tbsp
• Potato – 1
• Carrot – 1
• Cabbage – 3 leaves.
Method:
- Fry dals, cumin and chillies and grind it coarsely.
- Season mustard, urad dal, channa dal, asafoetida in oil and add chopped vegetables. Saute for a few mins.
- Then and the rice, salt, and fry for a while.
- Add in water (for 1 cup rice, take 2.5 cups water) and stir well,.
- Put everything into a pressure cooker and steam.
- Sprinkle some coconut and mix with ghee.
