
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Rajma
• 1 cup – Finely sliced Onion
• 2 – Tomatoes
• A ball of Tamarind
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Asafoetida
• 1 tsp -Ginger-garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Grated cheese
• 1 tsp – Chopped Coriander leaves
• Salt to taste
• Oil to fry.
Method:
- Pressure cook the rajma for 30 mins and keep aside.
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai and saute the onions until pink.
- Put the tomatoes in boiling water for 10 minutes.
- Blanch the tomatoes and cut into fine pieces.
- Add the tomatoes and tamarind juice.
- Add the garam masala, chilli powder, asafoetida, ginger-garlic paste and salt.
- Add the rajma and cook for 5-10 minutes.
- Garnish with grated cheese and chopped coriander leaves.
