Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Urad Dal
• 1 cup – Jaggery
• 1 tsp – aniseeds
• Ghee for frying

Method:

  1. Soak dal in cold water for 7-8 hours.
  2. Grind it finely.
  3. Stir until it becomes sticky and add ground aniseeds.
  4. Make baras and fry one by one in ghee.
  5. Dip them in syrup made by boiling the jaggery in 1 1/2 cups of water till well blended and syrupy.
