Ingredients:

• 500 g – Rava
• 500 g – Sugar
• 3/4 cup – Pure Ghee
• 1.25 – Cup water
• 1 tbsp – Ghee
• 100 gm- Grated Coconut
• 2 tbsp – Raisin, chopped –
• 2 tbsp – Almond, chopped
• 2 tbsp – Pista, chopped
• 5 – Cardamoms

Method:

  1. Mix sugar and water, stirring on low heat
  2. When sugar begins to melt, add 1 tbsp ghee.
  3. Simmer it till it becomes like a thread, then stir occasionally.
  4. In another pan, heat ghee and add rava.
  5. Stir on low heat till aroma comes and turns light brown.
  6. Add syrup, nuts, cardamom and stir.
  7. When mixture leave the sides of a pan and begins to form a mass spread on a grease tray.
  8. Let it cool, cut into diamond shape pieces and store.
