Ingredients:

• 1 cup – white rava
• 2 tsp – grated fresh Coconut
• salt
• Luke warm water
• For seasoning
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• 5 – Curry leaves
• A pinch – Hing
• 2 tsp – oil
• 4 – Red Chillies
• For garnishing
• Chopped Cilantro
• 1 tsp – grated fresh Coconut

Method:

  1. Mix rava, coconut and salt in lukewarm water. The consistency of the mixture should be slightly thick. Let it sit for 15 mins.
  2. Then make small balls.
  3. Steam these balls like idlies in a greased vessel.
  4. Cook it for 20 mins, later cool it for a while
  5. Add 2 tsp of oil in the pan.
  6. To this add mustard seeds, urad dal, red chillies, curry leaves, hing and add all the rava balls and mix all together.
  7. Finally garnish with chopped cilantro.
