Ingredients:

• 100 g – Wheat rava
• 200 g – Sugar
• 1 litre – Milk
• 1 tbsp – Cashew nut
• 1 tbsp – Kismis
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• 1/4 tsp – Cardamom powder

Method:

  1. In a frying pan add a little ghee.
  2. Roast cashew nuts and kismis and keep aside.
  3. Roast wheat rava in the balance ghee till the raw flavour is lost.
  4. In a thick vessel boil 2 measures of water.
  5. Add the roasted rava and cook it.
  6. Then add sugar.
  7. Allow it to boil for 2 or 3 minutes.
  8. Remove from fire.
  9. Add the boiled milk to the payasam, and add kismis, cashew nuts and cardamom powder.
