
Ingredients:
• Sooji – 1 to 1.5 cups
• Chopped Onion – 1
• Green chillies – 2 to 3, chopped finely
• Chopped Ginger or Ginger paste
• Garlic paste – 1 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Grated Coconut – 1/4 cup
• Chopped coriander – a small bunch
• Curd – 1/4 cup
• Oil – for baking
• Water
• Salt
Method:
- Mix the first 8 ingredients together, adding the required amount of salt .
- Add curd to the above mixture.
- Add water to this mixture to form a soft dough.
- Heat a little oil on a pan. Keep on medium heat. Place a small round of the dough on the pan.
- Dip your hands in water and flatten the dough to form a round disc – like a pancake.
- Keep some water in a cup to dip your hands, so that the dough does not stick to your hands.
- Drizzle some oil around, like for a dosa .
- Cook the other side too till golden brown.
- Serve with ketchup or achar.
