Ingredients:
• 2 cups – raw banana, cut into small cubes
• 2 tbsp – gooseberry, chopped
• 1/2 cup – onion, chopped
• 2 tsp – green chillies, chopped
• 2 tbsp – Yoghurt
• 2 tbsp – vegetable oil
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• To taste – salt
• A handful – Curry leaves
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan or kadhai and add mustard seeds.
- Add chopped onion and green chillies.
- Add all spices, salt, raw banana and gooseberry, and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add yoghurt and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Optionally, you may add tomatoes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with curry leaves.
- Serve with dosa, idli, chapati or rice and dal.
