Ingredients:

• Rawa (semolina) – 1 cup
• finely chopped Bananas – 2 cups
• Milk – 2 cups
• ghee, melted – ¾ cup
• Cashew nuts – 2 tbsp
• Sugar – 1.5 cup
• water – ½ cup
• yellow food color – a little, optional
• Banana slices to garnish

Method:

  1. Roast cashew nuts in 2 Tbsp of ghee and reserve.
  2. Roast rawa with 2 Tbsp of ghee till light brown.
  3. Add sugar, milk, water and remaining ghee.
  4. Add banana pieces. Add color if using.
  5. Cook stirring till the mixture forms a thick lump.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with reserved cashew nuts and banana slices.
  7. Serve warm or cold.
