Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Rawa (sooji)
• 1/2 cup – all purpose flour
• 3/4 cup – Sugar
• 1 – Egg
• 1/2 – ripe Banana (optional)
• 2 – Cardamom
• 1/4 tsp – cooking soda
• Oil to deep fry

Method:

  1. Beat egg till it is fluffy.
  2. Now add sugar, rawa, flour, soda, powdered cardamom and mix well.
  3. Mash the banana and add to the mix.
  4. The mix should be thick like vada mix, if it is so thick you can add very little water.
  5. Leave the mix to set for at least 20 minutes.
  6. Now heat the oil in frying pan and drop small balls of mix with a spoon.
  7. Fry till it turns golden brown and drain in a paper towel.
