Ingredients:

• Oil – 3 tsp
• Mustard – 1 tsp
• Black gram (urad) dal – 2 tsp
• Green chillies – 3, slit
• Curry leaves – few
• Wheat Rawa – 1 cup
• Water – 2.5 cup
• Ginger – 1/2 tsp, minced
• Salt – to taste
• Grated Coconut – 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put the rawa in a deep non-stick pan.
  2. Heat oil in a small seasoning ladle. Season with mustard, dal, chillies and curry leaves.
  3. Add to the rawa.
  4. Add ginger, salt and water. Mix well, cover and place on fire.
  5. When the water begins to boil, lower the flame and cook till the water is absorbed.
  6. Mix in the grated coconut and serve hot.
