Ingredients:
• 5 to 6 – Red Chillies
• 1 tbsp – tamarind, tightly packed
• As required – salt
• 2 tbsp – onion, chopped
• To temper:
• 2 tsp – oil
• 3/4 tsp – mustard
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• Few – Curry leaves
Method:
- Grind red chillies, tamarind and salt with 1/4 cup of water, until very smooth. Transfer to a bowl.
- Temper with the, ingredients for tempering.
- Add onion and fry, till golden brown.
- Mix it to the chutney we ground.
- Enjoy as an accompaniment with rice or idly.
