
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Parboiled Rice
• 1/2 cup – Red cowpeas
• 1/2 cup – Urad Dal
• 1 inch piece – Ginger
• 2 – Dry Red Chillies
• Salt
Method:
- Soak red cowpeas with enough water overnight.
- Soak parboiled rice and urad dal separately for 2 hours.
- Drain the excess water from the red cowpeas, wash 3 times with cold water and keep aside.
- Grind rice coarsely with ginger and red chillies.
- Grind both urad dal and red cowpeas finely.
- Mix batters with enough salt and keep aside for 2 hours.
- Heat a tawa, pour a ladleful of batter, spread in circular shape and cook with enough oil.
