Ingredients:

• Cooked Rice – 10 cups
• Red Chillies – 10-15
• Pepper – 2-3 tsp
• Baking soda – 1 tsp
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Grind all the ingredients together with a little water.
  2. Once the paste is ready, put it into a chakli maker.
  3. Take a thin long cloth or polythene sheet.
  4. Slowly make the chaklis on the cloth, but as very small circles.
  5. Let it dry in the sun for a week.
  6. Once totally dried, store it in air-tight containers.
  7. Whenever required fry in hot oil and serve as Snack or with rice like papad.
