
Ingredients:
• raw Rice – 4 cup
• Urad Dal – 1 cup
• Butter – 3 tbsp
• Jeera – 2 tsp
• white til – 1 tsp
• LG powder(hing) – 2 pinches
• oil to fry
• water to knead dough
• salt to taste
Method:
- Wash rice and dal nicely and dry it thoroughly on a piece of cloth.
- Grind in a mixer to a very fine powder. Knead into a soft dough using butter, salt, LG powder and water.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and press chaklis into hot oil and fry till golden brown.
- Remove on a paper napkin and store in an airtight container.
- Serve as a tea time snack.
