Ingredients:
• 750 gms – Pork spare ribs or tender Pork chops
• 3 – medium size Carrots
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• 1 tsp – dried herbs or dried Mint powder
• 2 – large onions, sliced finely
• 2 tsp – pepper powder
• 1 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 2 tbsp – flour
• 2 cups – water
• Salt to taste.
Method:
- Heat the butter in a pan and brown the pork spare ribs on all sides, then remove and keep aside.
- In the same pan saute the onions and ginger garlic paste for some time.
- Add the flour and mix well. Slowly add one cup of water stirring all the time.
- Add the pepper powder, dried herbs/ mint powder and salt and some more water.
- Cook on low heat for 15 minutes till the meat is cooked and the water reduces.
- Place the pork ribs in a buttered casserole dish and pour the contents of the pan over the spare ribs.
- Arrange the carrots on top and cook in a moderate oven (355 degrees F) for about 45 minutes.
- Serve with bread and steamed vegetables.
