Ingredients:
• 1 – tomato, chopped
• 1 – brinjal, chopped
• 1 – potato, chopped
• 1 – onion, chopped
• 8 to 9 – beans
• 1/2 cup – tur dal
• 2 to 3 tsp – Tamarind juice or paste
• 2 tsps – saaru powder
• Red Chilli powder – to taste
• Chopped Coriander leaves
• Oil
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 1 tsp – cumin
• Curry leaves
• Salt to taste
• Water as needed
Method:
- Cook tomato, potato, beans, brinjal with tur dal, a bit of tamarind juice or paste, salt, water and 1 tsp of saaru powder.
- Saute in a pan curry leaves, mustard, cumin and onions.
- Now, add the boiled vegetable with vegetable stock.
- Add the remaining tamarind juice or paste. Stir well.
- Add some more saaru powder, red chilli powder and stir well.
- Add the chopped coriander leaves and cook well.
- Add ghee to enhance the taste.
- Eat it with rice.
