Ingredients:
• 200 g – sattu (roasted black Chickpea flour)
• 150 g – castor Sugar
• 200 g- clarified Butter (ghee)
• Handful – chopped Almonds
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
Method:
- Heat a large pan and add sattu flour in it.
- Roast the flour on low flame, stirring frequently.
- Add clarified butter (ghee) and stir continuously.
- When the flour has mixed well with the ghee and roasted completely, add sugar and cardamom powder.
- Mix well.
- Grease a flat plate or tray and transfer the flour mixture on to it.
- Spread it evenly and press it down.
- With a knife, cut square or diamond shapes into the mixture.
- When cool, allow it to set in the fridge for 20 minutes.
- Take it out of the fridge and cut the pieces out gently.
- Store in airtight container.
- Can be used for 15 days.
