Ingredients:
• Rice 2 cups
• Onion – 1, medium size
• Tomato – 1, medium size
• Garlic – 7 to 8 Cloves finely chopped
• Soya sauce – 1 tbsp
• Vinegar – 2 tsp
• Sugar – 1 tsp
• Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Oil – 2 tbsp
• Salt as required
• 2 cups – Mixed vegetables like carrot, beans, Cauliflower and cabbage. (These vegetables should be cut in large pieces)
• One small Cucumber cut into 2-inch pieces
• 1/2 – Lemon
Method:
- Wash and cook rice in such a way that each grain is separate.
- Place a karahi with oil on a high flame.
- Add finely chopped garlic. Stir fry.
- Add onions and fry for a minute.
- Add tomato.
- Add the mixed vegetables and salt. Keep on stirring till the vegetables are done.
- Add rice, soya sauce, vinegar, sugar and chilli powder.
- While serving garnish it with cucumber slices and lemon wedges.
