Ingredients:

• 200 g – Flour
• 4 – Eggs, beaten
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1 cup – Milk
• 3 – Onions, chopped and ground to a paste
• 2 tbsp – Butter or Ghee
• 1 tsp – pepper powder
• 1/2 tsp – Baking powder
• 1 litre – Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Knead the flour with the salt, baking powder, pepper powder, onion paste, eggs and milk.
  2. Keep aside for about one hour.
  3. Divide the dough into small lemon sized balls.
  4. Flatten each ball, then fold over any 2 sides to form a hollow, deep fry a few at a time till golden brown.
  5. Cool and store in an air tight box and use whenever required.
