Ingredients:
• Rice 2 cups (cooked or leftover)
• 4-5 Red Chillies
• 1 inch Ginger chopped
• Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
• Onion – 1
• Tomato – 1
• 2-3 Green chillies
• Oil 2 tsp
• Asafoetida
• Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Curry leaves or Coriander leaves to garnish
• Salt to taste.
Method:
- Chop onion, tomato and green chillies. Cut chillies and ginger into small pieces.
- Heat oil in pan and add mustard and asafoetida.
- Add chopped onions, green chillies and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and fry. Add turmeric powder, prepared rice and mix evenly.
- Add salt to taste and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with pickle or curd.
