Ingredients:

• 250 g – Butter
• 250 gm – Refined flour or Maida
• 250 g – Sugar (powdered)
• 5 – eggs, beaten well
• 1 tsp – baking powder
• 1 tsp – cake seeds

Method:

  1. Sift the flour and baking powder together.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar well.
  3. Add the beaten eggs and mix well.
  4. Slowly add the flour and fold in the mixture.
  5. Add cake seeds and mix well.
  6. Pour into a buttered and floured cake tin
  7. And bake for 40-45 mins in a hot oven.
