Ingredients:
• Ghiya (lauki)- 1 kilo
• 150 gms- Sugar
• Green Cardamom powder 2 pinch
• Clarified butter- 2 to 3 tbsp
• Khoya/Mawa – 100 grams to garnish
• Raisins – 100 grams
• Almonds – 50 grams
• Cashew nuts- 30 grams
• Fresh milk- 200ml
Method:
- Heat the clarified butter in the pan, add cardamom powder. And ghiya fry until the water evaporates.
- Keep stirring otherwise it can get burnt.
- Add sugar,dry fruits and milk together.
- Dry it fully and keep stirring all the time. Garnish with khoya. Your halwa is ready to eat.
