Ingredients:

• Ghiya (lauki)- 1 kilo
• 150 gms- Sugar
• Green Cardamom powder 2 pinch
• Clarified butter- 2 to 3 tbsp
• Khoya/Mawa – 100 grams to garnish
• Raisins – 100 grams
• Almonds – 50 grams
• Cashew nuts- 30 grams
• Fresh milk- 200ml

Method:

  1. Heat the clarified butter in the pan, add cardamom powder. And ghiya fry until the water evaporates.
  2. Keep stirring otherwise it can get burnt.
  3. Add sugar,dry fruits and milk together.
  4. Dry it fully and keep stirring all the time. Garnish with khoya. Your halwa is ready to eat.
