Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – Chicken
• 1/2 kg – basmati Rice
• 1 cup – Mint and coriander leaves, chopped
• 1 – onion, sliced
• 4 to 5 – Green chillies
• 1 – lemon, small
• 4 – cinnamon, small pieces
• 4 – Cardamom
• 1.5 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• salt to taste
• 4 – Clove

Method:

  1. Wash chicken and marinate with lemon and a little bit of salt. Heat oil or ghee.
  2. Add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and onion.
  3. Fry till brown in colour.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste.
  5. Add chicken pieces and fry for 2 mins. Add soaked rice. Mix well.
  6. Add salt. Cover and cook till done.
  7. Add mint and chopped coriander on top.
  8. Mix well and serve with raitha.
