Ingredients:

• 100 g – unsweetened chocolate (chopped)
• 2 – large eggs
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 cup – sweet chocolate chips
• 3/4 cup – flour
• 1/2 cup – Butter
• 1 tsp – vanilla essence
• 1/4 tsp – baking powder
• 1/4 tsp – salt

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
  3. Melt the butter in a pan.
  4. Add unsweetened chocolate to melted butter and slowly stir in sugar, vanilla essence and eggs.
  5. Add in flour mix and chocolate chips, stirring continuously.
  6. Bake in a greased plate for 20-25 mins and cool.
  7. Cut into Christmas shapes with cookie cutters.
  8. Can also be garnished with coloured frosting.
