Ingredients:

• 400 g – peas(shelled)
• 300 g – Cottage cheese
• 2 small bunches Spinach
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 4 – boiled Potatoes
• 4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tsp – dry Mango powder
• 10 tbsp – Arrowroot powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• a handful – coriander leaves(finely chopped)
• a pinch – soda
• salt to taste
• oil for deep frying

Method:

  1. Boil the peas, potatoes and mash them while still hot.
  2. Clean and wash the spinach.
  3. Boil the spinach (without any water) with a pinch of soda.
  4. Squeeze out the water completely from the spinach and grind it coarsely.
  5. Crumble the cottage cheese.
  6. Mix all the ingredients together and make dough.
  7. Make small flat patties and deep fry in hot oil.
  8. Serve with cucumber, onion slices and a bowl of mint dip.
