
Ingredients:
• Basmati Rice – 200 gms
• Jeera (Cumin seeds) – 2 tbsp
• Cloves – 5
• Black Peppercorns – 10
• Cashew nuts – 50 gms
• Oil / Ghee – 1 tsp
• Salt
Method:
- Wash and soak rice for half an hour in a bowl.
- In kadai/wok, add oil/ghee and saute the cumin seeds, cloves and black peppercorns.
- Cut the cashewnuts into halves and add in the kadai.
- Add the rice and salt as per your taste.
- Cook the rice with minimum amount of water.
- Serve the rice with any curry.
