Ingredients:
• 1 kg – Chicken
• 1 cup – Chicken stock
• 1 cup – beaten Curd
• 30 – Almonds (boiled, peeled and ground)
• 3 tbsp – Ghee
• 1/4tsp – Saffron
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 stick – Cinnamon
• 4 – Cloves
• 4 – peppercorns
• 4 – Cardamom
• 4 – Onions
• Salt
• To grind:
• 8 Red Chillies
• 2 tbsp – Coriander seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 6 Cloves – Garlic
• 1/2 inch – ginger.
Method:
- Cut the chicken into pieces and boil with a little salt.
- Slice the onions, fry till brown and grind to a paste.
- Heat ghee, fry the whole spices.
- Then add the masala and fry well. Next, add the stock, browned onions, curd, saffron, and garam masala.
- Simmer for 10 mins, then add chicken, salt and almond paste.
- Simmer again for 10 mins and serve.
