Ingredients:

• 115 g (1/2 cup) – warm Milk (to approx. 60 C).
• 400 g – flour.
• 1.5 tsp – dry yeast.
• 1 tsp – sugar.
• 2 tbsp – sugar.
• 1/2 tsp – salt.
• 2 – large eggs.
• 2 tbsp – oil.
• 1/2 cup -butter.
• A few tsp- icing sugar.

Method:

  1. Stir milk, yeast and 1 tsp. of sugar and let batter rise for 5 mins. Put the flour, sugar and salt into a mixing bowl, and add the yeast mix, eggs and oil. Stir all of it thoroughly. Cover the batter and let it rise for 30 mins.
  2. Preheat the oven for 5 mins.
  3. Grease the doughnut moulds with oil.
  4. Pour the batter into the moulds bake till the doughnuts are done.
  5. Brush the doughnuts with melted butter and sprinkle icing sugar.
