Ingredients:

• 1 small tin – pineapple.
• 100g – rawa.
• 100g – cashew nuts, roasted and chopped.
• 5 tbsp – ghee.
• 1 tsp – Cardamom seeds.
• a few drops yellow food colouring (optional).
• a few drops essence of Pineapple (optional).
• Sugar to suit the taste.

Method:

  1. Heat ghee. Add rawa and cardamom seeds and keep on stirring to a light golden colour.
  2. Put in the syrup from pineapple tin and sugar and keep on stirring till thick.
  3. Mix in the pineapple pieces, half the cashew nuts, essence and colour.
  4. Put in a serving dish and decorate with remaining cashew nuts.
